What is Last FM ? You should have a look around the Last FM website to get an in depth look but briefly it is a music sharing and reccomendation service. You sync you various music players, iTune, iPod, Windows Media Player and as you play songs these are recorded on Last FM. You can share you charts with others and allow Last FM to match you to music you may like but have never heard. This experiment grabs the top Artists and the number of times they have been played here in the Black Dot Digital studio and plots a simple bar graph. BDD have wanted to have a play with the Last FM API for ages and after much delay this very very simple expermient was and completed in under an hour. Itch scratched.Great. Music Taste exposed to the world. Not so sure.
