Torque came to Black Dot Digital in a state of transition. The company had been delivering very sophisticated "dashboards" to their clients for a long time and felt that they had outgrown the  platform they were using. Using there considerable in house analytic and programming skills Torque had pushed Microsoft Excel a long way but were looking for an online solution. We reccommended the jump to Adobe Flex and helped them with some training and a Google Maps based data visualisation compoent that they are able to use in ongoing projects. The component can plot multiple data points in geogrphic space and then animate these  so that users can watch what happens to the data over time.
