Go Health Clubs - H.A.L.I.

This project was undertaken for Ashiko Studio and Go Health Clubs.

Black Dot Digital was chosen to develop an offline desktop application for a chain of health clubs in Brisbane (Queensland Australia)

Used during the initial membership sign up and consultation session the system collects health and lifestyle data and uses this the suggest the program that the member should enroll in to reach their desired heal and fitness goals.

The system uses XML data to perform necessary data "look up" to convert the collected health indicators, age, weight, family medical history etc into program recommendations.

The rich nature of the AIR platform enabled Black Dot Digital to deliver an interface that exceeded the client's original design goals for the project.

The application is designed to be run in a shop front environment with just a mouse and screen. Black Dot Digital acheived this with the use of sliders for inputs such as weight and height, numeric steppers for numeric data and radio buttons and comboboxes for multiple choice questions.

Extensions to some key Flex containers added subtle animation to the interface to provide focus to the relevant question in the wizard.
